About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department, requiring night shifts from 1830 to 0700. The role involves 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with flexibility to pick up extra shifts as needed. This is a 13-week contract position. The nurse will provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment and collaborate with a diverse team to ensure high-quality care and effective communication. The position is located in close proximity to the Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest. Holiday coverage is required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Emergency Department nurse.
• Current Washington State nursing license or multi-state license.
• Completion of a 6-hour suicide prevention training course.
• Verification of nursing demographics through Nursys.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Meditech is helpful, but not required.
