About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a position in the Emergency Department. The role involves providing high-quality care in a large volume ED with a focus on acute patient needs.
Requirements
- Minimum experience: 3 years in a large volume ED with high acuity patients
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- PALS or ENPC
- TNCC
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Point of Care Labs is a plus
- Pediatric emergency medicine experience is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Barcode scanning med administration
- Managing medication drips
- Blood product administration
- Triage experience required - must pass hospital's Triage Test before allowed to triage
- Ability to set up chest tubes, art lines, assist with trauma and code cases
- Splinting, bipap/vents
- Good understanding of ESI
