UPMC Somerset is hiring Full-Time Registered Nurses (RNs) to support our Emergency Department in Somerset, PA. As part of this team, you will work rotating shifts to ensure high‑quality patient care during the Emergency Department’s 24/7 operations. Requirements

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Graduate nurses must take the State Board Nursing Examination within 60 days of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire or within 6mo
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• ACLS & PALS required (upon hire or within 6mo)
• Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmia Interpretation Course (upon hire or within 1yr).
• NIHSS upon hire.
• Act 33 with renewal
• Act 34
• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
• Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
