About The Position

The Emergency Department at Atrium Health Lincoln is a 25-bed unit providing 24-hour emergency medical services to Lincoln County and surrounding communities. The unit is equipped to handle a wide range of emergencies for patients of all ages, including severe injuries, heart attacks, and strokes. The staff includes physicians board-certified in emergency medicine. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• At least 6 months of RN experience
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of Critical Care (ED, ICU) experience preferred
