About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department uses theoretical nursing concepts to make practice decisions and assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized care for patients across the lifespan. The role implements nursing interventions, coordinates patient care and related activities, and delegates appropriate aspects of care to others. The nurse performs duties in accordance with McBride Orthopedic Hospital’s mission, vision, and values. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma.
- Complete hospital and nursing competency within three months of employment and annually, and submit it to the Nurse Manager or Education Coordinator.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Pediatric Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
