The Bedford Emergency Room is a full-service emergency department serving the community, staffed by board-certified Emergency Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, highly trained and certified emergency nurses, Paramedics, and Technicians. The unit provides 24-hour patient care services to populations ranging from infant to elderly, averaging 23,000+ patient visits per year. Requirements

Minimum of one year of RN experience.
Associates of Nursing (ASN) required.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. (Exceptions may be considered for candidates with more than two years of acute care experience, subject to CNO approval).
Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty.

Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour provision of patient care services to populations ranging from infant to elderly.
Address the most urgent and relevant clinical needs of patients during their emergency visit.
Collaborate with top medical professionals, including board-certified Emergency Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, and Technicians.
