About The Position
Purcell Municipal Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) for its Emergency Department. The ER RN is responsible for the primary functions of a professional nurse leader, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care. This role involves meeting Emergency Room Standards of Nursing Practice, managing supplies and equipment during their shift, and fostering a positive attitude and teamwork with staff physicians and personnel from other departments. An applicable shift differential is paid in addition to the base hourly rate.
Requirements
- Current Oklahoma RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Previous ED work experience
Responsibilities
- Perform the primary functions of professional nurse leader in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care.
- Meet Emergency Room Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Manage supplies and equipment on his/her shift.
- Promote a positive attitude and teamwork with staff physicians and personnel of other departments.
