About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This role involves providing exceptional care to patients across various age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The Emergency Department has 64 beds, including 2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), and 6 psych beds. Common patient diagnoses include Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure. Specialty equipment includes Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. This position requires flexibility to work evening shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Block scheduling is not assured.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department, with pediatric experience preferred.
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Active RN license in New York and all relevant RN licenses verified through NURSYS.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
• Strong capability to work in a high-demand environment, including floating to other units as needed.
