About The Position
The SouthPark Emergency Department is a Magnet-designated facility and a 16-bed, free-standing emergency department located in the SouthPark area, a vibrant suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina. It provides comprehensive 24/7 emergency services and is proudly affiliated with the CMC Level I Trauma Center, ensuring seamless access to advanced trauma and specialty care when needed. Through a unique, team-based approach to patient care, the department consistently achieves some of the region’s highest patient satisfaction and team engagement scores, reflecting its commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate service. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- At least 6 months of RN experience
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred
