About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse - Emergency Department for an exciting Travel or Local job in Atlanta, GA. This role involves providing emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in a high-volume setting. The nurse will perform rapid patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, assist in trauma and resuscitation, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the ED team. Accurate documentation and ensuring patient safety are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience
• Experience in large facility ED required; Level I Trauma preferred
• Active RN license (GA or compact)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required

Nice To Haves

• TNCC and ENPC preferred
• Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients
• Perform rapid patient assessment and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
• Assist in trauma and resuscitation procedures
• Monitor patient condition and respond to critical changes
