About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ED). The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs with over 2 years of acute care experience, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for new graduate RNs. The pay range is $37.00–$51.28 per hour for a full-time, 12-hour shift schedule. The department is Emergency Services. The hiring process is designed to be fast, involving a recruiter prescreen, a hiring manager interview, and a quick decision.

Requirements

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• In Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current.
• EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire.
• Non-OB facilities: NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) within 12 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department (ED)
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and prioritization of care
• Respond to acute changes, trauma, and life-threatening conditions
• Interpret labs, diagnostics, and patient symptoms
• Communicate patient status with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA, HIPAA, and patient safety standards
• Report suspected abuse/neglect per regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation
