This is a part-time Registered Nurse position in a 30-bed Emergency Care Unit. The unit is fast-paced and high acuity, handling approximately 155 visits per day and over 55,000 annual visits. The role includes ACLS, PALS, and EKG training. A Clinical Educator facilitates an orientation program focused on Emergency Nursing, especially for novice nurses, and offers the Emergency Nursing Association (ENA) orientation curriculum online. The position is 40 hours biweekly, with a 12-hour Evening/Night rotation, requiring every third weekend. Eligible for shift and weekend differential. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing, and coordinating patient care through the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes recognizing and treating physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
