About The Position

Trinity Health Grand Rapids is a Level 2 Emergency Department and consists of 48 beds. 44 beds are universal bays and 4 trauma rooms. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week on the night shift. The facility is Magnet designated with active shared decision-making councils, continuously striving to improve outcomes and provide exceptional experiences for patients, staff, and the community. The Registered Nurse - RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. The RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
• Associate's degree in nursing required
• Licensed in the State of Michigan
• BLS Certification
• American Heart
• Experience as an RN required (if new grad, must apply to RN residency)

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire (if ADN)
• RN residency takes place three times a year in February, July and October
