About The Position

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team, working alongside emergency medicine physicians, ED techs, and other support professionals. Your care and treatment of emergent patients are crucial to their Patient Experience. You will be responsible for caring for an emergent patient population. Opportunities for engagement include joining hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, participating in evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.

Requirements

• One year of recent acute care RN experience is required.
• RN Diploma, ASN required.
• PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact OR able to secured PA licensure (including temporary) prior to start.

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Department RN experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
