About The Position

Cibola General Hospital is a critical access hospital in Grants, New Mexico, dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of the region and surrounding rural communities. As a 25-bed facility, it provides essential medical services closer to home. The hospital offers a supportive environment for professional growth and development, located an hour from Albuquerque and near Santa Fe, known for its mild climate and outdoor activities. Cibola General Hospital provides a range of services including general surgery, 24-hour Emergency care, Intensive Care, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics, Pathology, Podiatry, Primary Care, and Radiology. It also features three operating rooms, outpatient behavioral health services, clinics, lab services, pharmacy, cardiopulmonary, and rehab. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Valid NM Registered Nurse license
  • BLS required
  • Availability to work night shift

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Accurately document and maintain patient records
  • Continuously update nursing knowledge and skills through professional development activities
