About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with a focus on emergency and pediatric nursing. This role involves working in a 64-bed Emergency Department that handles a wide range of patient demographics from newborn to geriatric, and common diagnoses including Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure. The position requires proficiency with specialty equipment such as the Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA PALS certification.
• Current NIHSS certification.
• Current TNCC certification.
• Active and verifiable RN license in New York and all other states of practice.
• Travel experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in the Emergency Department.

• Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.

• Float to other areas as required.
