About The Position
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a high-volume Emergency Department. Primary responsibilities include handling a variety of patient types and providing high-quality nursing care.
Requirements
- Minimum experience: 3 years in a large volume ED with high acuity patient
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
- EMR Experience: Epic (required)
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric emergency medicine experience preferred
- Experience with Point of Care Labs is a plus
Responsibilities
- Barcode scanning med administration
- Managing medication drips
- Blood product administration
- Triage experience required - must pass hospital's Triage Test before allowed to triage
- Ability to set up chest tubes, art lines
- Assist with trauma and code cases
- Splinting, bipap/vents
