About The Position

The Atrium Health Providence Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their part-time PRN Night Shift team. This department is equipped with 12 beds, including resuscitation rooms, a Rapid Medical Evaluation room, and triage rooms. It is staffed by board-certified emergency room physicians with APP support, and offers on-site Lab, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, and 24/7 ED Clinical Pharmacy support. The team provides care to over 16,000 patients annually, including adults and children of all ages. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. You will use evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • At least 6 months of RN experience.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of Critical Care experience preferred.
