Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• At least three years of clinical experience within the Emergency Department.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• If not already completed, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) must be achieved within three years of hire.
• Show and maintain evidence of nursing competencies within the practice area, including certifications required for the area, such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, or Health Care Administration preferred.
• Two years of teaching experience preferred.
