The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Nurse Consultant-Educator in ensuring compliance with the Nursing Practice Act, ICF/IID standards, OSHA regulations, and Department of Health and Human Services policies. The role supports the development of educational materials, training curricula, and instructional sessions for nursing staff. It also assists in developing and revising policies and standards to ensure safe, competent nursing care for more than 200 individuals with intellectual disabilities and acute or chronic medical conditions. The position helps establish evidence-based clinical policies and procedures in response to changing technology and medical needs, including direct observation of clinical services. Additionally, it supports the Nurse Supervisor in data collection, quality improvement monitoring, and implementation of policies and procedures.
