About The Position
Metrowest Medical Center is seeking Registered Nurse Educators to join their RN Clinical Education Team at their Framingham/Natick, MA locations. Opportunities are available in Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Perinatal, Med/Surg, and Psych/Behavioral Health. The Nurse Educator will collaborate with the Market Education Director, facility Nursing Leadership, and staff across departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing and non-nursing staff. The role serves as a key resource for orientation and continuing education of nursing staff, implementing comprehensive education programs for assigned units and contributing to educational goals and vision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, nursing education or related specialty.
- Current state licenses and certifications (ACLS, PALS and TNCC).
- 3+ years of current experience in area of specialty.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver nursing education programs.
- Support the educational needs of assigned units through classroom instruction, clinical experiences and learning technologies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
- Lead professional development and mentorship – provide coaching, mentoring and guidance to nurses, preceptors, nurse residents, students and colleagues to support professional growth and clinical excellence.
- Coordinate continuing education and specialized training.
- Support Quality Improvement and Clinical Practice Enhancement.
