About The Position

Deliver confident, rapid emergency care to a high-acuity and high-volume patient population, ensuring safe, compassionate treatment during some of life’s most critical moments. Perform thorough assessments and prioritize care quickly to stabilize trauma, cardiac, stroke, pediatric, and medical emergency patients in a dynamic environment. Anticipate changes in patient condition and act decisively to initiate timely interventions that improve outcomes and support throughput in a busy ED setting. Collaborate closely with physicians, paramedics, specialists, and support teams to ensure seamless coordination from arrival through admission or discharge. Educate and support patients and families during discharge to promote recovery, prevent return visits, and reinforce community trust in our Emergency Department.

Requirements

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date require. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
  • Minimum 1 year of ED experience.
  • PALS and TNCC certifications.
