About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Dismissal Lounge at Texas Health Fort Worth will deliver care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process, including assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care. This role involves incorporating age-specific safety and infection control measures, initiating actions to meet patient information needs, and maintaining continuity of patient care across shifts and transfers. Requirements

Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
ACLS – within 90 days of hire required
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire
NIHSS - required for ICU/PCU Neighborhood 6 Months Req
1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required

Nice To Haves

One (1) year of RN experience in acute care hospital strongly preferred
