About The Position

UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Digestive Health - Endoscopy Procedures team. This role involves assisting providers during endoscopic procedures, providing patient care before, during, and after the procedure, educating patients, administering medication, using and maintaining endoscopic equipment, and managing emergencies and complications. The position also promotes efficient patient flow and assists physicians with patient care, procedures, tests, and record keeping.

Requirements

2 years of current/recent endoscopy, med-surg, PACU or ICU nursing experience
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington

Responsibilities

Assists providers during endoscopic procedures and provides patient care before, during, and after the procedure
Educates patients, administers medication, uses and maintains endoscopic equipment, and helps manage emergencies and complications
Promotes efficient patient flow throughout the clinic and assists the physicians with patient care, procedures, tests and record keeping.
