Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited/approved school of nursing.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support(BLS).
- Current Registered Nursing License (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license.
- At least one year of nursing experience is required for PRN.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's of Nursing.
- National specialty certification applicable to area of practice.
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP (only in select units/departments) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing services by working with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients care.
- Provide a positive, supportive environment.
- Serve as the intermediary between the patient and family, and the provider(s) and other care team members.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain professional competence.
- Develop others.
- Uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
- Support Shared Governance through service on councils or sponsored activities.
