About The Position
The Dialysis RN works with Nephrology medical practitioners to provide high-quality care to patients in need of dialysis related therapy. The Dialysis Nurse collaborates closely with medical practitioners, dieticians, social workers, and vascular access departments to meet dialysis patient care needs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Bachelor or Associate school of nursing and a current state license to practice nursing.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Preferred 1-2 years of nursing experience with a minimum of 1-2 years in Dialysis nursing.
- Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
- Must have basic computer knowledge and must be able to safely operate dialysis machines.
- Current RN License required.
- BCLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) and ACLS certification preferred.
