About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Dialysis on a PRN Days basis. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. The Dialysis Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. This includes interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The nurse will oversee dialysis treatments for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians. Requirements
- RN License in the state you are applying
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification is required after 90 days of employment (or from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU).
Nice To Haves
- Current ACLS certification is preferred initially.
- Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
- Planning, coordinating, and providing patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
- Overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.
- Performing other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties (ACLS certification required).
