About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Dialysis, PRN, at our Orange City Rehab location. As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients on the nursing unit. This includes interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient and family teaching, and accessing community resources. You may also serve as a Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required). Dialysis Nurses are responsible for overseeing dialysis treatments for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.

Requirements

RN License in the state you are applying
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment.
ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.

Nice To Haves

Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
Planning, coordinating, and providing patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
Overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.
May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
