About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Dialysis at their Tulsa LTACH location. This position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth and advancement. The Dialysis Registered Nurse, under the direction of nursing leadership, is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care. This includes interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient and family education, and accessing community resources. The role may also involve Charge Nurse duties, requiring ACLS certification. Dialysis Nurses specifically oversee dialysis treatments for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.

Requirements

RN License in the state you are applying
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment.
ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.

Nice To Haves

Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
Planning, coordinating, and providing patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
Overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.
Performing other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties (ACLS certification required).
