About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Dialysis PRN to join our team. This role requires the ability to commute to PAM Health Centennial Hills and Henderson. The Dialysis Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients. This includes interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The role may also involve performing other related duties, including Charge Nurse responsibilities (ACLS certification required). Dialysis Nurses oversee dialysis treatments for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.
Requirements
- RN License in the state you are applying
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment.
- ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.
Nice To Haves
- Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
- Planning, coordinating, and providing patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
- Overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.
- Performing other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
