About The Position

Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse (RN) to join their dermatology practice. This is a highly procedural role where the RN will work closely with the dermatology team to provide exceptional patient care. The position offers a dynamic and rewarding work environment with a Monday to Friday daytime schedule, meaning no evenings or weekends. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. This includes coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions. The RN will collaborate with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. They will demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards. The role functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure, adhering to the American Nurses Association's Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for Nurses.

Requirements

  • Graduated from a school or college of nursing
  • Attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as a RN (or LPN) at another facility
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state, or states, of practice
  • Nurses performing nursing practice over the telephone require licensure in the states where the patients being served reside

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
  • Certification may be required depending on specialty or service area
