About The Position

Tareen Dermatology is expanding into Thief River Falls, Minnesota, with a new clinic opening in December 2026. They are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team and contribute to exceptional dermatologic care. This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys direct patient care, surgical procedures, patient education, and collaborating with providers in a fast-paced specialty clinic. While dermatology experience is preferred, it is not required.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

Nice To Haves

Previous dermatology experience.
Previous surgical, outpatient clinic, or specialty practice experience.
Experience providing patient education and assisting with medical procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for dermatology examinations and procedures.
Review medical histories, collect vital signs, and address patient concerns.
Assist physicians with dermatologic and surgical procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic treatments.
Provide wound care, suture removal, and post-procedure patient education.
Accurately document patient encounters and procedures within the electronic medical record.
Submit orders and coordinate laboratory testing as directed by providers.
Handle and label specimens according to established protocols.
Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical equipment.
Support quality, safety, OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA compliance standards.
Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
