About The Position
Whispering Creek is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for day shift (7am–3pm, .5 FTE, every other weekend) in Janesville, MN. This role exists to deliver safe, consistent nursing care and support residents and families with clear, timely communication. Key responsibilities include resident assessments, medication administration, documentation, and carrying out long-term care plans in coordination with the Director of Nursing and the care team.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Minnesota)
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, and follow-through
- Clear communication and a steady, resident-first approach
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, consistent nursing care
- Support residents and families with clear, timely communication
- Resident assessments
- Medication administration
- Documentation
- Carrying out long-term care plans in coordination with the Director of Nursing and the care team
- Getting report and setting priorities for a steady, predictable shift
- Coordinating with nursing assistants and the Director as needs change
- Answering family questions
- Keeping information moving so the team stays aligned
- Preparing a clean handoff to the next shift
