About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a CVOR RN for a travel/contract position in Saginaw, MI. This role is responsible for assessing the needs of each patient before and during a surgical procedure, maintaining patient safety, and developing a plan of care specific to the patient. The nurse will implement and evaluate the plan of care during the procedure, making necessary adjustments while prioritizing patient safety. Responsibilities also include documenting patient care during surgical procedures, supervising activity in the room, anticipating and coordinating schedule changes, assembling equipment and supplies, assisting anesthesia as necessary, and monitoring the sterile field. Effective communication with patients, families, physicians, the OR team, supervisors/managers, and ancillary departments is crucial. The role also requires timely completion of all charting and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse: 3 years - Required
  • 3+ Years of RN CVOR or similar experience - Required
  • OPEN HEART Experience - Required
  • ASN or an equivalent – Required
  • RN License for State of MI - Required
  • BLS Certification from AHA - Required
  • Reside beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility location

Nice To Haves

  • Recent travel experience - Highly Preferred
  • BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred

Responsibilities

Benefits

  • $2772 Weekly Gross
  • $2880 weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week
