About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, specifically with adult and geriatric populations, and experience in post-cardiac arrest care. This role requires a Minnesota RN license and certifications in BLS and ACLS. Experience with Open Heart Surgery, Impella, IABP, and CRRT is essential for success in this position.

Requirements

• Minnesota RN License
• 1+ Years of Experience
• BLS & ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• CCRN
• Adult and Geriatric Population Experience
• Open Heart Surgery Experience
• Impella Experience
• IABP Experience
• Post Cardiac Arrest Experience

Nice To Haves

• CRRT
• Trauma Level I
• Epic Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, and respond to changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record.
