About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The role involves providing care to patients with a 1:1-2 patient ratio. The nurse will work weekdays and some weekends, with rotating holidays. The position requires flexibility to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. The schedule is 36 hours per week, with rotating day/night shifts and up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period. Specific weekend shifts include Saturday/Sunday for dayshift and Friday/Saturday for nightshift.
Requirements
- 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred.
- BLS/ACLS required.
- Proficiency in IV start, Telemetry, Vents, Swanz, Conscious sedation, Balloon pumps, and PA lines.
- EPIC experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous travel experience preferred.
Responsibilities
