About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The role involves providing care to patients with a 1:1-2 patient ratio. The position requires flexibility to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. The schedule includes weekdays and some weekends, with rotating holidays. Specific shift details mention up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period, covering both dayshift (Saturday/Sunday) and nightshift (Friday/Saturday).
Requirements
- 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred.
- BLS/ACLS required.
- IV start skills.
- Tele (telemetry) monitoring skills.
- Ventilator management skills.
- Swanz catheter management skills.
- Conscious sedation administration skills.
- Intra-aortic balloon pump management skills.
- PA line management skills.
- EPIC experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous travel experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
