Registered Nurse - CV Prep and Recovery
About The Position
Saint Luke's Hospital is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Cardiovascular Prep and Recovery Unit. This is a Full Time position, 36 hours per week, working Days. The unit offers supportive leadership, with Nursing Assistants to assist. Intensivists and NP's work alongside RNs during shifts, and Respiratory Therapy is available at night. Extra incentives are available for picking up additional shifts. In this hospital setting, the Registered Nurse is accountable for utilizing the nursing process. They are responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and for the supervision of other patient care staff. The nurse is responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Registered Nurse - Various
- Associate Degree
