About The Position

We are hiring a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care department at Ascension Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK. This is a full-time position, 36 hours per week, with a night shift schedule.

Requirements

Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsibilities

Champion Patient Success: Proactively implement, evaluate, and modify individualized patient care plans to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Be the Patient Advocate: Continuously monitor, accurately document, and promptly communicate changes in patient status to the care team, acting as their voice and primary protector.
Lead the Coordinated Effort: Serve as the central coordinator, connecting and facilitating seamless, well-orchestrated care across all medical disciplines to ensure a unified patient experience.
Execute with Precision: Meticulously carry out physician and advanced practice provider orders, along with specialized nursing protocols, ensuring every detail of the treatment plan is followed.
Prepare for Tomorrow: Holistically assess patient discharge needs and proactively collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan for a safe, successful transition home or to the next level of care.
