About The Position
The Registered Nurse utilizes the Nursing Process collaboratively to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with their scope of practice. The RN supports the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within the St. Joseph's Healthcare System and on their assigned unit.
Requirements
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
- Successful completion of department-specific orientation.
- Obtain department-specific Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications within one year of hire.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be granted through the American Heart Association, as required by St. Joseph’s Health effective January 2019.
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
