About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Critical Care Transport team in Greenfield. This full-time, rotating position is part of the IU Health LifeLine's Critical Care Division, which provides emergency and non-emergency transport and treatment services. The team utilizes advanced air and ground fleets, including Airbus EC145 helicopters and Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICUs), to serve patients across Indiana, Eastern Illinois, and Western Ohio. Team members receive Crew Resource Management (CRM) training to ensure safe and efficient operations in a dynamic transport environment. Requirements

  • Associates of Nursing (ASN) required.
  • Current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant Adult ICU nursing experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Valid Indiana Driver's license with no more than 6 accrued points.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience (subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer).
