This is a full-time, exempt position for a Registered Nurse specializing in crisis care. The role involves conducting physical and behavioral screenings, monitoring medical stability, and responding to emergent medical needs. Responsibilities include medication management, documentation of medical risk factors, identifying and managing intoxication and withdrawal, and conducting psychiatric history assessments. The nurse will consult with community agencies and families, provide on-call crisis intervention, and participate in daily staff meetings. This position plays a key role in medication administration and medical services on-site, developing and supervising psychopharmacologic and medical treatment policies under the direction of a medication management provider, and managing pharmaceuticals and medical supplies in collaboration with an APRN. The role also involves coordinating and administering medical assessments, providing ongoing assessment of clients' mental illness symptoms and treatment response, and offering symptom education. Maintaining RN licensure and continuing education is required. The position may also involve community presentations and other duties as assigned by leadership.
