About The Position
River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering compassionate, client-centered care in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. At The Recovery Center, we provide critical alternatives to inpatient hospitalization. We offer walk-in outpatient services 24/7, a 23-hour observation unit, residential psychiatric stabilization, and medically monitored detox services. Employees are expected to develop meaningful relationships with patients, establishing trust and making a difference in the lives of clients and their families. Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.
Responsibilities
- Assess client health problems and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver direct nursing care to clients in crisis, including those with mental health and substance use challenges.
- Administer medications (oral, sublingual, IV) and monitor their effects.
