River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering compassionate, client-centered care in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. At The Recovery Center we provide critical alternative to inpatient hospitalization. We offer walk-in outpatient services 24/7, a 23-hour observation unit, residential psychiatric stabilization, and medically monitored detox services. Location/Schedule: 3575 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, GA – 36 hours 3-12 hours shift Sunday-Saturday and Every Other weekend 7am7pm or 7pm7am.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
Responsibilities
- Assess client health problems and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver direct nursing care to clients in crisis, including those with mental health and substance use challenges.
- Administer medications (oral, sublingual, IV) and monitor their effects.
