About The Position

Transplant Coordinators coordinate all aspects of care for both transplant recipients and donors. A coordinator participates in medical, administrative, research, and teaching duties and is an active member of the multidisciplinary transplant team. This position requires two years of RN experience in transplant, ICU, or the operating room, along with a current Michigan RN license.

Requirements

• At least two years of clinical nursing experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
• Two years of RN experience in transplant, ICU, or the operating room.
• Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
• Organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patient care personnel and relate to patients and their families.
• Analytical ability and motivation to plan, deliver, and implement plans of care in acute and outpatient situations.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• For coordinators of heart transplant or with VADs, experience in ICU or OR is preferred.
