About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Coordinator to join their Radiation Oncology team. This role is based at the ChristianaCare B130 Hospital Site in Newark, DE, with the requirement to provide cross-coverage at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center in Newark, DE, and the Concord Health Center in Chadds Ford, PA, as needed. The team consists of twelve Radiation Oncology Coordinators covering three locations, with specific nurse allocations for the main HFGCCRI location, hospital inpatients and HDR patients, and the Concord Health location.
Requirements
- Multi-State RN License required.
- BSN required.
- BLS certification required.
- Three or more years of combined clinical experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Nice To Haves
- OCN certified by the Oncology Nursing Society is preferred. If not OCN certified, certification should occur within two (2) years.
- Oncology certification preferred, or completion of oncology-specific contact hours as required by Commission on Cancer standards.
- Oncology nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide coverage at the ChristianaCare B130 Hospital Site in Newark, DE.
- Provide cross-coverage at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, Newark, DE.
- Provide cross-coverage at the Concord Health Center, Chadds Ford, PA.
- Cover high volume of patient visits at the main HFGCCRI location.
- Cover high acuity inpatients and HDR patients at the Hospital.
- Cover the Concord Health location.
