Requirements
- Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
- Valid and current Texas RN license
- Current BCLS through American Heart Association
- Experience leading a team
- 2+ years in a clinical area related to assigned department
- Proven ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy.
- CRT experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned.
- Windows- based computer skills
- ACLS
- 2+ years of ambulatory care.
- Prior supervisory experience
Responsibilities
- Providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards.
- Provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning.
