About The Position

Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a Registered Nurse Coordinator for Clinical Programs in the Cardiology department. This full-time, day shift position is located in Nashville, TN. The role involves developing, overseeing, and maintaining the Joint Commission Chest Pain Program Certification across two healthcare facilities. The coordinator will establish, track, and update clinical protocols to ensure compliance with AHA, ACC, and Joint Commission standards. Responsibilities also include monitoring the quality of care for cardiac patients through medical record audits and providing performance feedback to treatment and transport teams, as well as driving education and collaboration with internal nursing staff and external partners like EMS, fire departments, and transferring hospitals.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities
