Coordinates clinical and administrative processes for patients through all phases of the transplant/mechanical circulatory support (MCS) implant continuum to include pre-transplant/implant evaluation, wait list management, transplantation/implantation and post-transplantation/implantation follow-up care. Educates patients, families and staff regarding transplantation/MCS implantation. Completes data capture, analysis and reporting and other administrative functions required for transplant/MCS program operations. Actively participates in the quality agenda for transplant services as outlined by the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Collects and maintains time study data for purposes of reporting pre and post transplant time.
