About The Position

This role involves leading clinical research projects according to study protocols and providing direct patient care for study participants. The nurse will assist with the preparation, submission, and management of compliance documentation throughout the research project lifecycle. Responsibilities include participant selection, education, testing, and monitoring, ensuring continuity of care through collaboration with other healthcare providers. The position requires meticulous documentation of patient care and study results, ongoing communication of findings to the research team, and participation in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with standards of care and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 yrs GYN Oncology Research experience.

Responsibilities

Lead clinical research projects via study protocols and provide direct patient care for study participants.
Assist with the preparation, submission and management of internal/external compliance documentation at all stages of the research project.
Assist with the selection, education, testing, and monitoring of research project participants.
Follow protocols and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of participant care.
Document patient care and study results using appropriate formats and systems.
Communicate patient/study results on an on-going basis to research team.
Participate in quality assurance/improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards of care and regulatory requirements.
